Women's Cross Country Blog (Melissa #5)

Today is the day before regionals. We have been out here in Washington, Bellingham since yesterday at 6 p.m. The weather is cold, but it is great weather to run in. Our race is tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Lake Padden. We all are excited to show everyone how hard we worked thisseason. We ran the course today to become familiar with the trail we are going to be running in, and so far we have become more confident.

This season has had a lot of ups and down, but for sure many great memories. We have bonded real well, and any time you see us out on the trails we have a smile on our face and enjoy the sport we do. We had a small team, but we worked real hard and proved to many that we are a good and strong team. We placed fourth at conference with only seven members on our team; that says a lot.

Tomorrow is the day where we will put all the work that we have done these past couple of months, and try to place in the top 6th so that we can make it to nationals.
