Four big games, each win will get us one step closer to securing a playoff spot in the CCAA's. There are essentially 5 teams in the race for 4 spots with two more teams right on the edge. The great news is we are in complete control of our season. We win, we're in. Once we get in, we can set our sights on being repeat champions. But first we have to face Dominguez Hills twice, San Bernardino and Pomona. Our next game is on Wednesday at home at 7pm rain or shine.
This past weekend we secured wins over Sonoma and Humboldt. Two teams that are out of the race for the playoffs. Taking a look at the conference, the North has quite a few teams with records below .500, while the South has quite a few above .500. With a weaker North, its harder for Southern teams to get in to the tournament as we have to play each other twice. No matter, we just have to take it one game at a time.
