Was this a fantastic weekend for us cross country girls.
All seven of us recorded a new 6k personal record at the Northridge Invite. We ranged from being faster by 46 seconds to a top of three minutes and thirty-one seconds. You can see how much hard work we have been putting in.
Maritza also had another achievement, not only by dropping down her 6k time by two minutes and fifty-five seconds, she was also named CCAA runner of the week, for the week of October 11-17. What a great birthday gift for her, since her birthday was on Sunday.
We only have one invitational left which will be this Friday at Cal State Fullerton at 5p.m.
After that in two weeks will be our conference race at Legg Lake. For now we will keep moving forward, practicing real hard to reach our goals, and celebrating my birthday which will be next Wednesday.
Congrats girls, keep working hard, and never give up!!!
